“The power under the constitution will always be in the people. It is entrusted for certain defined purposes, and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choosing; and whenever it is executed contrary to their interest, or not agreeable to their wishes, their servants can and undoubtedly will, be recalled.”

Good evening!
We’re getting the new web site up and running!

The site is designed for information sharing, on a larger scale than Facebook or the Blog allows. Both will continue to function, but for short or immediate announcements. The new web site allows for the long term storage of references, and commenting as well.

You must be registered to comment on discussions (blog format), and authorized to post files in addition to that. If you are interested in commenting, click on the CONTACT tab, and send a message to that effect. If you want to post files, say so, and we’ll discuss what topic(s) you might be interested in.

Given that this is the INTERNET, and everyone can see you, we have site rules above; click on “Site Rules”. We want to keep this open and informal, but there are a lot of people who disagree with our core values, and want to take down the TEA Party. So we need some standards. The site rules try to provide that. If you have problems or concerns with them, please use the contact form, and we’ll discuss them.

In any event……Merry Christmas! Enjoy the holidays, because 2012 looks to be a rambunctious year. At the very least.

“Sapper79” is my nom de blog; in real life, I’m Jeff Stidham, site administrator.

From the Young Tea Party Patriots of Milton-Freewater
Young Tea Party Patriots and Caroling

Please join the Young Patriots this Saturday to spread Christmas Joy and Cheer to the seniors of our community by going caroling ! Many Seniors will spend a very lonely Christmas this year with no one having the time to visit grandma and grandpa with having to work so hard in these harsh economic times. But, the Young Pats realize that, though they may not always be appreciated in our technological age, seniors have lived lives that have spanned decades of time. They have compiled through those years vast amounts of valuable memories and experiences that will be destroyed when they leave. They saw , felt , heard , and experienced events (that we can only read about) as they happened. So, help us show how much we appreciate our Senior citizens by bringing them some hope and cheer in what might be a gloomy season for them.

We will be meeting outside the Evergreen Nursing Home at 2:45 P.M. After singing some carols there, we will proceed to visit several Seniors who are homebound before heading home.

The Evergreen Nursing home is located on: 120 Elzora road , Milton-Freewater

Please feel free to have your kids make a few Christmas cards or ornaments to hand out at the nursing home and to give to the homebound we will be visiting.

In Liberty and Peace,
